Alumni Lunch: Judy Hill

The Study Center wants to connect you with UNC alumni! With this goal in mind, we are starting a series of Alumni Lunches, giving you the opportunity to meet and learn from our extended community. Space is limited, so the first students to respond will be notified.

A native of Raleigh, NC, Judy graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1978 (BA Mathematics) where she was very involved in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Judy married Frank Hill in 1982 and they moved to the Washington, DC area for the next 22 years, during which time they raised three sons and Judy spearheaded the creation of a new Young Life Area in Eastern Fairfax serving several new high schools.

In 2010, Judy founded High Cotton, a national men's apparel brand headquartered in Raleigh, NC with stores across the country and a mission to revitalize the southern textile industry.  Judy sees her work with High Cotton as a gift and a calling from God, allowing her the opportunity to create new products with the help of the very God of creation, to serve her customers well and to bring jobs to the textile industry of her beloved state of North Carolina.
