MaryRachel (‘18) grew up in Black Mountain and graduated from UNC with degrees in Journalism and Latin and a minor in PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics). As a Carolina undergrad, she was active in a variety of campus organizations and departments. She worked as a multimedia manager for the Research Laboratories of Archaeology, directed multimedia for TEDxUNC, and photographed sports for UNC Athletics. She traveled to Israel twice for archaeology through the Classics and Religious Studies departments and to Puerto Rico to cover the aftermath of Hurricane Maria with a group from the School of Media and Journalism. Some of her favorite moments at UNC included spending time at Study Center seminars and the Wilberforce Conference, participating in IM sports and Club XC, and helping with UNC's PPE Society and Eta Sigma Phi chapter. Throughout college, she was involved with and led first-year Bible studies. Now, MaryRachel is loving — and giving glory to the Lord for — time in Chapel Hill at the Study Center.
MaryRachel helps with Study Center communications, educational programming, discipleship, and hospitality efforts.
