Help others connect faith and
knowledge with all of life at UNC!

It is exam season at UNC and a huge part of our hospitality ministry at the Battle House is to keep students fed, caffeinated and in the presence of encouraging company with staff present practically around the clock.

Whether you're local to the Triangle area or caring for students from afar, please participate in our mission of serving and supporting students through hospitality! You can drop off snacks in person or simply mail them to the Battle House.

If you prefer to provide financially, we can do the shopping! Designate "exam snacks" through our online giving platform comment line or mail a check with "exam snacks" in the memo.

Here at the Study Center we rely heavily on wonderful volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who offer their time, talent, and resources. Take a look at the list below of current needs and see if there’s an area where you would be available to help!

Ways to Serve

Here are a few ongoing ways to get involved. Many of these projects are great for individuals and groups alike.

  • Make homemade food for Study Center hospitality

  • Assist with landscaping and lawn care

  • Mentor a UNC student

  • Prepare/serve a meal for a Battle Fellows meeting

  • Help maintain Study Center facilities (clean, donate items)

Have something else in mind? Send ideas our way! Email Alison at alison@ncstudycenter.org.
