Join us at the NC Study Center for a free luncheon and an opportunity to hear from physicist (and thoughtful Christian) Dr. Mike Strauss!
Bio: Dr. Mike Strauss is a David Ross Boyd Professor of Physics at the University of Oklahoma. He conducts research in high-energy collider physics, currently with data from the ATLAS detector at CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland where he studies the fundamental particles and forces that make up the universe. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical science from Biola University and his Ph.D. in experimental elementary particle physics from the University of California in Los Angeles. His previous research was done at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Dr. Strauss has spoken about the intersection of science and Christianity at universities, schools and churches throughout the world.
Please RSVP to Matt Hoehn (matt@ncstudycenter.org) if you plan to attend so that we know how much to order for lunch that day!
