See below for a list of local churches. These are not the only congregations in Chapel Hill/Durham, but they are the most commonly attended churches among students involved with the Study Center. We highly encourage church membership and active involvement during your time at Carolina, and encourage that you reach out to churches directly to learn more!

 
 
 

Chapel Hill Bible Church

The Chapel Hill Bible Church is a non-denominational church comprised of people who worship Jesus Christ and want Him to be known in our city and the world. We believe in the truth of the Bible, and we strive to live out our faith individually and together.

 

Christ Central Church

Christ Central Church exists for the glory of God and the good of downtown Durham. To see individual lives changed and community formed by believing the gospel, belonging to community & becoming more like Christ. To help cultivate flourishing for all people through championing mercy and pursuing justice for individuals and in systems. To be people who integrate our faith into our vocations, recreations & creations.

 

Christ Community Church

Christ Community Church seeks to glorify God by connecting the riches of Christ to the realities of life through our children’s and youth programs, active global ministries, thoughtful, Bible-based Christian education curriculum, vibrant community groups, and discipleship opportunities.

 

Christ The King

We are a loving family of people of differing ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, financial situations and life histories. We are different from one another in many ways, but are the same in our love for Christ, His Church and His work in the world.

 

Church of the Good shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham, North Carolina is a body of believers desiring to know and make known the Real Jesus for Real People in and for the Real World. We invite you to come join us in the joy of that effort! We are an evangelical congregation associated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and are located on the northwest side of the Research Triangle.

 

Cornerstone Anglican Church

The mission of Cornerstone Anglican Church is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and to participate in the redemptive work of God’s kingdom, by the power of the Spirit. King’s Park international church

King’s Park International Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church in the RTP/Durham area of North Carolina. Our mission is to Know God, Grow Together, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference. From the beginning, our focus has been on building a solid, Christ-centered family through nurturing believers in the Word of God, effective prayer and sincere relationships. Vintage Church is a church of doubters, seekers, and followers who are striving to know, live and advance the gospel. All are welcome with no prerequisite of church background or prior belief. We would love to have you visit our church – we cherish all ages, stages, and races.
