Will Spokes
Director of Wilberforce Leadership Project
Will grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and got his bachelors in philosophy from Duke University. Torn between Law School or Seminary, Will decided to attend Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia where he earned an M.Div. and began 20+ years of ministry, which included 9 years of college ministry serving with Reformed University Fellowship. In 2019 Will left full-time ministry to go back to school to get an MBA at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Since that time Will has been coaching and consulting with individuals and mission-driven organizations in the areas of leadership, culture, and strategy. He is in the process of getting his Professional Coaching Certification through New Ventures West in San Francisco.
Will and his wife, Megan, live in Durham, NC and have four boys. He spends his free time training for triathlons, going for walks with his wife, listening to live music, and reading. Will's interest in leadership and formation stems from the age-old question, "What is the Good Life?" Or put differently, "What is a life well lived?"
Will is an honorably retired Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.
